Badgernet goes live at Birmingham Women’s Hospital – Monday 2 July

Maternity notes for all women cared for at Birmingham Women’s Hospital will go live via the BadgerNet electronic patient record system on Monday (2 July). This has been trialled with a small group of pregnant women and from this week will be offered to all of our newly pregnant women. Maternity Notes will be accessible via computers, tablets and mobile phones and will allow women to have direct access to their own clinical information, following sign off by a clinical staff member. It will include details of future appointments, clinical forms and results. In addition, women will be able to answer background information ahead of their first appointment and complete preferences about their birth plan. They will also have direct access to information and websites relevant to their care.
